What are Divisions?

There are 10 Divisions dedicated to enhancing the experience of our members and supporting local communities. Our Divisions, some of which were previously known as ‘Regions’, provide a fantastic opportunity to connect, contribute, and grow. They actively seek volunteers to help bring these initiatives to life. The ten Divisions are as follows: Anglia; Central; Home Counties; Irish; Northern; Scottish; South West; South East; Welsh; and West Central.

All of our Divisions are run by member volunteers, who receive guidance from the Club. The Chair of the Divisions has a position on Club Council, which informs and consults with the Club’s Executive Committee.

What do our Divisions do?

The Club’s Divisions organise events for members and promote them; they also promote Club events and support local rallying (temporary sites) and Centres within their area. In addition, they offer opportunities to network and meet other members.

Each Division is designed to offer members a more personalised, local experience while fostering a sense of community and belonging. We need your help to make these initiatives successful. Whether you can contribute your time, talents, or ideas, volunteering in any of our Divisions is a fantastic way to give back, grow your skills, and connect with fellow members.

How can I be heard through Divisions?

Each Division holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Club member living within the area of their Division may attend.

Apart from AGMs there are other ways in which members can exchange views, ask questions and hear from the Club’s Executive Committee members and Club staff.

The Chair of the Division is the appointed representative of Club Council and can take the views of the membership to meetings with the Executive Committee.

For example:

Question Times: The Question Time event is a top-table panel with representatives from the Executive Committee, senior Club staff, members from the Division and one or two representatives of associated caravanning bodies, such as a caravan dealership or manufacturer.

Can I be part of a Division?

If you’d like to learn more about joining the Division, then get in contact with our Division Administrator – they’ll tell you all about what they do and how you can get involved.
