Whitby is at the bottom of the staircase (199 steps) that leads from behind the Abbey ruins.
Whitby has had a long association with Jet, Captain Cook and Dracula.
For those not feeling up to the walk down and climb back up the 199 steps there is an alternative pedestrian route and a vehicle access.
Also the City Sight-seeing tours bus passes by the rally field several times a day.
Nearer to the site is a micro-brewery which serves various drinks and depending on timing they serve Pizzas.
Some social events will be organised and any charges will be collected at the rally.
